On Dec. 15, The Hendersonville Lions Club held their second eye screening at Community Child Care in Hendersonville. The group scanned a total of 73 children. The club works to provide free eye screenings in area schools and reise funds to help those in need. The screenings help identify eye conditions likely to cause amblyopia.
Thank you again to George Chism for organizing this event. We would also like to thank our new club members for volunteering and making this a successful event. It is the team effort that makes this successful.
